Ladies and gentlemen: Elvis has left the building...guns a blazin'!
The Rad Revival House returns to the classic Hollywood western with a review of FLAMING STAR, starring Elvis Presley! The King of Rock and Roll becomes the King of Vengeance as he portrays Pacer Burton, a mixed-race young man caught in a turbulent war between whites and indigenous Americans. Pacer, a half-white, half-Kiowa man, must decide where his loyalties stand: his family, or the local Kiowa tribe.
Packed with action and a strong moral message, FLAMING STAR is a great showcase of Elvis as the serious actor, rather than just a singing sensation. The film was directed by genre master Don Siegel (DIRTY HARRY, CHARLEY VARRICK), and costars such familiar faces as L.Q. Jones, John McIntyre, Dolores Del Rio, and Richard Jaekel.
