When it comes to lasting weight loss and well-being, reaching your goals will usually take longer than you realise.

So be prepared for the timing of fat loss to not necessarily coincide with your efforts to make it happen. It doesn't mean it isn't happening, it just means that the variety of factors that influence the rate of fat loss (which are rarely 100% predictable) are having a temporary impact on our weight loss progress.

But ultimately the body cannot ignore a genuine calorie deficit, so as long as you are in one, you can't NOT drop body fat.

This episode highlights the need to be in the right frame of mind from the outset and willing to engage in the habits that lead to fat loss irrespective of mood or perceived lack of progress to date.

I chat about the common mindset barriers we should prep ourselves for before and revisit during our fat loss journey - and they are key areas I focus on with my Academy and 1:1 clients.
