Description

My wellness pointed out something rather interesting this week. There are three words most of us tend to have mixed up:

Do Have Be

We're under the impression that if we "do" something, then we can "have" a certain result, and therefore "be" the person we want to be. It's as if we'll give ourselves permission to be the person we desire only after we've done something.

But we have it backwards.

The correct order is Be Do Have.

The reason for this is because our behaviors flow from our sense of identity. The sum of our thoughts and beliefs about ourselves is essentially who we are.

Are we the kind of person that engages in the behavior that produces the results we say we're after? If we are that kind of person, then our behavior takes care of itself.
