In this episode I meet with Les Nicoll, a retired fireman, rugby player, family man and the current chairman of the N.E.S.T. charity.
Les tells me all about the amazing work he has done and how that inspired him to set up his own charity to support the most impoverished of families in the Tendring and Colchester area. We hear about his own childhood, the challenges he has had to overcome and his hopes for the future.
Potential trigger warning - Les talks about the topic of poverty and domestic abuse.
