Description

I attended the brand-new home of ‘The Anti-Loo Roll Brigade’ at the Stanway Lakelands Centre to meet with the charity’s founder, Peter Dutch. He talks about how he went from being a scaffolder to establishing a community interest company (The ALB) during the pandemic and many of the amazing things he has achieved since. Including, but not limited to, his role during the pandemic in sourcing PPE and rapid flow testing kits for the government, creating family-friendly festivals with celebrities, sending out essential supplies and medication to Ukraine 8 days into invasion and most recently opening and running the brand new multi-million pound community centre, which has become a safe haven and hub for many families, especially those who have disabilities and additional needs.
