Disordered eating (DE) is becoming increasingly common, and anyone with eyes and a working Instagram account can see that we have plenty of reason to suspect that fitness professionals struggle with their relationships with food (see: the inability to post what you eat in a day without also pretty much showing it in transit as you document your physique to the minute).

But are coaches at elevated risk of disordered eating? And why does it matter?
