Description

Bob Ashley is the founder of the Chiricahua Desert Museum in Rodeo, New Mexico and lover of all things snake related. He joined me to discuss his recent book titled A Photographic History of Snakebite Treatments: Bad Medicine, Snake Oils, Potions, Elixirs and Kits. We spoke about the origins of the science on anti-venom, how the term "snake-oil" came to be, his collection of snake-oil kits, his connection to Geronimo, future vision for the museum, and much more.
