Twilight Crooks was a beaming, 15 year old Indigenous girl from Bowling Green, Kentucky with dreams of attending Harvard.
After receiving a call from an unknown person in the late hours of August 28th, 2001, she quietly walked barefoot, out of her family home, and into the night. She would never be seen alive again.
Twilight’s brutally murdered body was found 13 days later, discarded in a remote rural area- she was dressed in someone else's clothes.
Anyone with information on the murder of Twilight Crooks is encouraged to call the Warren County Sheriff’s Office at 1-270-842-1633 or to leave an anonymous tip using the Sheriff’s Office’s anonymous tip form.
