Journal Notes: I heard a loud call in my left ear that was like a ringing and pulsating wind. I saw a vision of being one of Gideon's 300 that knelt by the water to cup it in my left hand and drink. I saw Jesus in the exact same posture. I saw THE VIGILANT REMNANT followed by a drop of Jesus' blood turning my dress into a deep red wedding gown.
🪶 When Gideon took his warriors down to the water, the LORD told him, “Divide the men into two groups. In one group put all those who cup water in their hands and lap it up with their tongues like dogs. In the other group put all those who kneel down and drink with their mouths in the stream.”
🪶 Psalm 11:7 And marching He’ll drink from the brook and so lift up His head.
🪶 Judges 7:3 Whoever is timid or afraid may leave this mountain and go home.’
🪶 Isaiah 55: Everyone who thirsts, come to the water... Incline your ear [to listen] and come to Me; Hear, so that your soul may live ... Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call on Him [for salvation] while He is near.
🪶 Philippians 1: For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better. But if I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ. So I really don’t know which is better. I’m torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live.
