This week we sat down with an incredible woman Dr. Kecia Thomas. She is Senior Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Georgia as well as a Professor of Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology and African-American Studies and the founding director of the Center for Research and Engagement in Diversity (RED). While Paula was getting her undergrad at UGA, Kecia was her mentor and she has had a very big influence on her. In this episode we want to invite you guys to lean into an important and courageous conversation with us as we explore the differences between performing diversity and practicing inclusion, color blindness vs multiculturalism, and how these issues are currently impacting all of our mental health.
