The reality is, you can't have balance in an extreme sport - no matter if that is body building, CrossFit, cycling etc. As Katrin Davidsdottir famously said "Champions do not have balance".

There are however lots of things you can do to make the road back to balance post comp easier and less stressful for yourself - the women I speak about in the podcast are proof of this.

I work with so many women who start binge eating and gain weight after their shows - I did the same thing, but can bodybuilding be done in a safe way?
