This is the second interview with Jill Von Rothe on the subject of “illegitimacy”. Jill has recently become the star of our podcast shows. For some reason, which we cannot explain her Podcast has drawn 10 times the downloads of the next highest podcast which was “The Redemption of an Abused Daughter”. It may have to do with the subject matter we are covering, or her willingness to be clearly transparent to the questions that are being asked of her, or for whatever reason not only is our audience listening to Jill, but they are transmitting her first Podcast to many thousands of people.
This second Podcast addresses the subject of illegitimacy which according to scripture is one of the two generational sins which lasts for 10 generations (sins and curses of the fathers last for three or four generations) however, incest and illegitimacy lasts for 10 generations. Jill discusses how she felt when she first learned she was illegitimate. God gave her a better understanding of why her father Dr. Von Rothe rejected her when she was 21 and met him for the first time……she was illegitimate and Dr. Von Rothe was ashamed of her; she represented his sin and he, her actual father, did not want to have anything to do with her. Come listen to Jill as she describes how God helped her understand He was her Father and began to heal her emotions. Further, there were several ramifications in her soul; strongholds of false thoughts that were an outgrowth of being illegitimate. Thoughts of shame, rejection, abandonment, hiding and insecurity. These were all lies that were building blocks on which the Enemy attacked her, causing worry, anxiety and fear.
How was Jill able to overcome such thoughts? It is easy to understand how she felt like an orphan, being illegitimate, she had an orphan spirit! Nonetheless, God is a good, good Father! Jill spent many years trying to earn God’s love. She just wanted to be loved. No man was able to give her the love she desired from a father.
