Description

This podcast is with Coach Joe Wootten, son of Coach Morgan Wootten honoring his father's legacy. Coach Morgan had a father's heart. Many of his players didn't have a father or a father figure in their lives. As you listen to this podcast you will enjoy Coach Joe describing stories about his father which are heart-warming stories. Young men's lives were positively affected beyond the game itself.

More importantly, Coach Morgan had an impact far beyond the high school team at DeMatha HS in which he coached his players directly. Having coached coaches on five continents, and through his summer basketball camps, 241,000 young men were trained in the game.

Starting his coaching career at an orphanage to annually having a top 25 Basketball team almost every year since the 1960's, Coach Wootten became the winningest Coach in Basketball history even entering the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Come listen to the comments other coaches spoke about Coach Morgan including Coach John Wooden from UCLA fame.

Our country needs more young men to grow up to be fathers themselves. Someone in their lives with a father's heart needs to step up to help them understand what it means to have a father's heart. A heart that wants to protect, provide and mentor the next generation.
