After some thought and prayer, it came to my attention that many people don’t know how to talk with God their Father. In fact, many do not believe it’s even possible. So, I thought I would be transparent and share some of my conversations that I have had with my Dad with the hope that my listeners could begin to enjoy a vicarious experience through the eyes and ears of someone else. Several years ago, I had a wealthy Jewish client who told me that he talked with God. Then he said something strange, but true. People might think he was crazy because he said he talked with God, however, because he was quite wealthy, people gave him a pass, simply saying he was “eccentric”. So, you see, we cannot steer our lives on the basis of what other people say about us. Maybe I am crazy, but I prefer to think of myself as Eccentric. By the way, God told him one day at an airport, not to board a plane. He listened to the voice that told him not to board the plane and it crashed. So, it can come in handy when you hear from God and you don’t have to be a so-called “Christian” to hear His Voice.
The purpose of my sharing these conversations with my audience is to encourage them to hear from God their Father themselves. There is no formula to it. He can speak to us in dreams, a still small voice, in thought impressions, in visions, etc. Generally speaking, I like to use the phrase “downloads from heaven”. The most common environments that our exchange occurs while I am awake is while taking a shower, or riding in a car, or going for a walk. Most likely, these times I am alone; or at least it appears I am alone, when in fact His Spirit is always with me. To establish familiarity with His Spirit, Holy Spirit or “Ruach (Ruah)” Kadesh in Hebrew, I nicknamed Him by calling Him “Ruahy”. Having grown up in an Irish Catholic family on Long Island NY, everyone had a nickname and most often the nickname ended in a “Y”. Tom became Tommy, Tim became Timmy, Pat became Patty for example. So, the Holy Spirit became “Ruahy” which means “Spirit”. The American Indians called Him “The Great White Spirit”, perhaps they were “racist” by describing Him as “White”, but they didn’t teach Critical Race Theory back then. In fact, as best I understand it the thought of race did not make an appearance until after Charles Darwin’s treatise “The Evolution of Species” in which he segregated the human race into four categories based upon skin color: white, black, red and yellow. Sounds like a thought percolating out of the Abyss to divide mankind when you think about it. Talk to your Father about it; there is no such thing as race; only the human race.
In any case, come listen. Enjoy the conversations I have had with my Dad and maybe just maybe, you will be encouraged to start talking with Him yourself! I know my Father and your Father would appreciate and enjoy the conversation!
