This podcast is a audio version of the second book in the Papa Tom’s Tales series of 12 books. The full title of this second book is “Luke the Lightbearer defeats the Spirit of Confusion”. As some of you may know each of Papa Tom’s Tales books are designed to address a specific fear a child may have in their lives. Actually, all of us are children at heart, and therefore, many adults have experienced the same fears later in life as children.
The underlying subject matter of this book is the current social issue of Transgender. Previously, I had created two podcasts with Brandon Showalter, a true journalist (you don’t find many like him anymore) from the Christian Post, discussing the subject of the spiritual roots of transgender in children. These Podcasts with Brandon were embedded in two separate articles in Charisma Magazine in August as they were connected to two articles on this subject from the editorial board of Charisma Magazine. The first article dealt with female prisoners objecting to male transgender prisoners being inserted into female prisons and raping the women (can you imagine this?) and the second article was on the new law in Texas making it a crime of child abuse to inflict transgender operations on children.
Suffice it to say, this current second book is timely. As with all Papa Tom’s Tales, the books are inspired by dreams my Father gives me. They have occurred on Friday nights and I spend Saturday writing the dialogue and back story to the pictures I received in the dreams. In this particular story, Luke the protagonist meets a young boy named Susan and the journey begins. Susan claims he/she is confused by being named “Susan” and they journey to heaven to understand from our Father’s perspective how confusion (a form of fear) started and the havoc it has caused Susan. Each book has at least 24 points of Biblical truth embedded in the pages. Each physical book is beautifully illustrated by Jerry Mosemak. Come listen and I am sure you will enjoy the journey as God our Father addresses the issue of confusion in Susan’s life and he comes to understand who he is and why this happened to him. The spirit of confusion will never attack him again after our Father shows him how to deal with this evil spirit. Perhaps, you can learn how to deal with the spirit of confusion in your life as well if this spirit is attacking you or your loved ones!
