For the first time in “The Father’s Heart” Podcasts we have a married couple being interviewed. Their names are Michael and Robin. They have been married for six years now and are learning much about each other’s background and how to relate in life. Though they have been married for six years, they decided to enter their marriage covenant later in life, in other words they are not “spring chickens” so to speak. The podcast centers around how Robin has been able to overcome fear in different forms in her life. From the beginning Robin relates a prophesy she had received 20 years ago concerning being set free from fear. The issue Robin had to confront was that she did not think she had any “fear”. Then, she realized fear had disguised itself. The word “insecurity” caught her attention; insecurity is really a form of fear.
Come listen to Robin relate her story of how she was affected by her Dad, who as a pilot in Vietnam had flown more missions that any other pilot in that war. She realized her Dad had fear and vomited from fear before every mission he flew. Robin’s Dad brought fear back with him from Vietnam. Come listen to how Robin interacted with her father and how that interaction affected her life. Further, her mother died of cancer when Robin was 26 years old. Come listen to how that affected Robin. We discuss two scriptures in this podcast: Hebrews 2:14-15 and Numbers 30. The first scripture shows how the enemy uses the “fear of death” to keep us in bondage all the days of our life, and how the fear of death is “the mother of all fears”. Note that the descriptive word “mother” indicates that this fear gives “birth” to all the other fears. Secondly, we develop habits in our lives often on the basis of agreements we have made either consciously or unconsciously. The Scripture teaches women how God the Father wants to give them a covering in their lives through their fathers and husbands to protect them from the effects of fear thoughts.
Spontaneously, in the podcast, Michael receives a revelation from God and has a breakthrough moment with Robin that will affect their relationship in a very positive way moving forward. We all felt the Presence of the Holy Spirit (I affectionately call Him “Ruahy” these days), illuminate the Scripture for us at least 10 times in the podcast, culminating in Robin’s description on how the Holy Spirit specifically led her to understand familiar spirits that had been affecting her all her life and how to get rid of them. I am sure you will enjoy the interaction between the three of us and I guarantee you will learn more than one new truths that will set you free when you listen to it.
