Description

Join us in discussing this month’s book club pick Hide by Kiersten White. Fourteen people show up at an abandoned amusement park for a life-changing opportunity. All they have to do is play an elaborate game of hide-and-seek and the last person standing will win $50k. But who is doing the seeking? Why is there blood on the carousel? And why is the fence electrified? As the game continues to play out, the constants realize that they need to hide for their lives. CJ and Kait discuss the Greek mythology behind the story, White’s nod to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and if the beginning was more of a technical error than an artistic flair.

For our next book, we’ll be reading Rouge by Mona Awad.
