Charell was in and out of foster care while her father was incarcerated for murder and her mother on drugs. She became the first in her family to graduate college and become a thriving communication executive and entrepreneur. Knowing first hand the challenges facing the foster care population, she currently sits on the board of CASA NYC and City Living NY.
