-literacy related to lifestyle, people don’t do stuff that’s to popular
-transition to technology, no books in school
-why don’t you take the kids to the library
-we’re in a literacy crisis
-barriers to literacy
-capacity of the parent
-quality of teachers
-in order to ask for help, I have to believe that you will help me
-good teachers and good students
-stigma around “bad” kids
-we’re skipping steps, these things aggregate
-why aren’t we holding kids back, to increase retention
-but my kid was there for 8 hours???
-barriers to learning even with resources
-ADHD, NEURODIVERGENT
-traditional school system is not working when most kids are on the bel curve
-what are we gonna do
-mental health services, socioemotional intelligence
-public school funding?
-education is not popular
-things are based off of what society values
-sheltered vs protected
-increase empathy
-parents are not equipped
-the system needs to evolve
