In this episode I get to have a conversation via FaceTime with my dear friend Teri Vineski-Cravins. Teri has completely turned aging around for herself with intermittent fasting. She is a fasting, life and mental health coach. She is a great wife, mom, daughter and many other things. We talk about the benefits of intermittent fasting, thoughts on what it’s like having a child early on and other life topics. These conversations are what I’m looking for. Teri's top tips for intermittent fasting:
1) Clean fast - black coffee/black tea/plain water
2) Minimum 16 hr fast
3) Keep your eating window 1-8 hrs ( hrs don't need to add up to 24) get with your doctor about anything over 36 hr fast
4) 18-20 hr fasting is where weight loss occurs
5) Give it 28 days for your body to heal and clean out insulin
