Description

In this episode, we dive deep into the idea that we are all atypical learners. Challenging the traditional categories of neurodiverse and neurotypical, we explore how Allan Paivio’s *Dual Coding Theory*—the idea that we process information both visually and verbally—could be more relevant today than ever before. We’ll look at how modern education may have lost sight of diverse learning styles, and how the rise in reading difficulties could be linked to abandoning visual learning strategies. Through personal insights and examples, we’ll argue that each of us exists on a spectrum of learning styles, making us all "atypical" in our own way. Join us as we question the conventional approach to learning and education, and advocate for embracing the full spectrum of how our minds really work.
