Welcome, my friends, to the Around and Around The OCD Circle
Podcast. A new episode launches bright and early every Monday morning in the US and around the world.
I wanted to announce some of the exciting shows that are
coming up in the near future. I will be discussing topics such as: managing OCD in the workplace, panic attacks and also the fear of death. Please be sure you check the show notes before listening to each episode if you could be triggered
by any of these topics.
I will also deconstruct my current obsession, telling you
how it started, my intrusive thoughts and rituals associated with this obsession and how I’m progressing currently to live a happy and fullfilled life despite having this obsession.
You will also hear the stories of two other women currently
living with OCD. My conversation with Ashley Marie Berry, author of the book Separate Things: A Memoir, is an in depth look at how Ashley Marie has lived with OCD since the young age of seven.
Also, I will be talking with Jaimi McPeek, founder of the OCD
movement, Flip of a Coin. Jaimi not only discusses having OCD since the age of four, but how she has survived other disorders, including anorexia nervosa and a suicide attempt at the age of 18.
And finally, a conversation with my friend Traci Perkins and
her husband Michael Perkins, where they discuss the challenges of partnering and living with someone who has OCD.
