In 2015, Star Wars came back in a big way with J.J. Abrams' The Force Awakens. I do not envy any of the creative team their task: to create a film that furthers the saga as well as plays into the nostalgia for that galaxy far, far away. Today on A Thousand Generations, we will discuss whether or not this first installment in the Sequel Trilogy successfully tapped into the nostalgia that governs the Star Wars galaxy.
