June 19th is the day we commemorate the end of slavery in the United States. To me, the story of Finn as seen in the Sequel Trilogy is the story of an escaped slave returning to fight back against those who had oppressed him. Finn's act of defiance also inspired others to throw off their shackles and stand up for freedom and justice in the galaxy. Join with me for this special Star Wars Juneteenth.
