Once upon a time a galaxy very, very near, a young filmmaker wanted to make a feature film version of the classic Flash Gordon comics and movie serials. His inability to secure the rights, while disappointing, caused the young filmmaker to instead create a story of his own. And the rest, as they say, is history!
