This week on our show, the Schwartz is with us as we take a look at the 1987 comedy-parody Mel Brooks classic Spaceballs! Spoofing everything from Star Wars to 2001: A Space Odyssey, this film tells the story of the evil Dark Helmet attempting to steal the atmosphere from the planet Druidia just as the latter's princess, Vespa, is running away from an arranged marriage. As she attempts to flee her world, she is captured by Lord Helmet and it's up to the scoundrel Lone Starr to rescue Vespa and end the tyranny of the evil planet Spaceball!
