Description

On this episode of The Nitty Gritty, Danielle Kazarian encourages us that the best way to stop feeling out of control is actually giving up our need for it.

Have you ever had some unexpected circumstances unravel your world? What is the most powerfully seductive voice in that moment?

Revival-wholeness-a restoration to health

Key Scripture:

Ezra 9
"...that God may enlighten our eyes and grant us a little reviving in our bondage. For we are slaves; yet in our bondage our God has not forsaken us, but has extended lovingkindness to us...to give us a reviving..."

Additional Scripture References:1 Corinthians 6:19 “Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God?

Romans 6:16 “Don’t you realize that you become a slave to whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. Thank God!!”

Phil 4:6 "...through prayer and supplication, the peace of God will transform your heart and mind in Christ Jesus..."

Joel 2:32 “those who call on the name of the LORD will be saved”

Nahum 1:13 “I will break the yoke from your neck and tear your shackles away. “

Isaiah 10:27 “I will tear off their bonds…”

Isaiah 42:7-9 “I will free captives from prison and release those you sit in darkness.”

Galatians 5:1 "...for whom the Son sets free will be free indeed"

God's Refining Fire will:

1. Burn down

2. Refine

3. Warm and comfort

4. Be a tool to light the way for others

Call to Action: 2 Chronicles 7

1.  Cry out to the LORD: Crying out to God in desperation is a great place to start your journey to wholeness. "If my people will humble themselves"-surrender your will to His sovereignty.

2.  Pray: "and pray"-talk to God, recognize your chains and acknowledge what keeps you in bondage, let him burn down those idols

3.  Supplication: "Seek my face and turn from their wicked ways"- If we’re going to turn from sin, we need to turn toward something. “supplication”-to hit the mark, to turn your face toward Jesus and God’s Word is hitting the mark.

4.  Open His Word: (see scriptures above)
5.  Be a part of the body of Christ!

God is in the business of healing. He is in the business of making all things whole and new. THAT IS REVIVAL. Will you turn your face to Him?
