The Nitty Gritty welcomes Jody Defries--Daughter of the King, wife to 1, mother of 8, and friend to all--as she walks us through how God delivered her from white-knuckling her life. God replaced the intrusive, invasive thoughts with hearing the angels singing, "You are a child of God".
Friends, get ready to be blessed. You won't want to miss this one!
What is Deliverance?
Freedom.
Our soul is like a suitcase. We acquire "dirty socks" that end up hidden in different compartments. Whether sins we've done or sins against us, we have soul wounds. (paraphrase)

What do we need deliverance from?
(just a few we mentioned)
Why do we need others to help deliver us?
It's like a care team putting a game plan together. People that have experience and knowledge that we don't have who, by God's revelation and wisdom, through prayer and fasting, can see the perspective, hear words of knowledge, etc. to speak directly into the situation.
