On December 5th, 2015 Katelin Akens was scheduled to depart Spotsylvania County, Virgina and head back home to her fiance in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Katelin's plane was scheduled for departure at 5:40pm that afternoon; however, Katelin never made it onto that flight.
