During the height of the pandemic in 2020 Sandra Johnson Hughes decided, like many people, to quarantine in nature. Sandra called her family on June 26th and informed them that she’d be doing a solo camping trip in the area of Johnson Meadows located in the Sierra National Forest. This was the last time her family ever heard from her, and the beginning of a twisting and turning missing person’s cast that still continues to this day.
If you or anyone you know has any information about Sandra Johnson Hughes or her whereabouts you are asked to contact the Madera County Sheriff’s Office at (559) 675-7770.
