Kingdome Come is set in an alternate future, the villains have all died. The heroes still fight each other for glory, regardless of collateral damage. A retired Justice League returns to bring peace, through any means necessary. This is a story of what happens when the people with god like powers start to think they actually are gods, and that there decisions have no consequences. This book is jam packed with metaphors and lessons on the military of the United States, the idea of God, and what it truly means to be a hero.
