Scripture Reference: Isaiah 6:1-9a
v.1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
• In the year that king Uzziah died -- refers to a period in time
• I saw also the Lord -- an awareness or consciousness of God’s presence)
• Sitting on the throne -- God’s Position
• High and lifted up -- God’s Majesty
• His train filled the temple -- God’s Glory
v.2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he did fly.
• Seraphim (angels that are described as burning ones or bright ones)
• Covered his face, from a brighter light
• Covered his feet, signifying their humility in being allowed in His presence
