Why doesn't she just leave series...
I have been sharing responses from BRAVE Warriors that took courage to answer my question. Take a moment to hear what "Patience" has to say...
"My marital relationship: in the beginning, I stayed with him because I thought I didn't have a biblical reason to divorce him. He wasn't unfaithful sexually. Then my health deteriorated to the point that I was homebound. As my health improved I knew that the stress of the relationship was preventing me from fully healing so I asked him to leave.
My friendships: some toxic church teaching that promoted listening to the advice of wise counsel. Ignoring such counsel would be considered prideful. This teaching triggered a limiting belief from childhood which became my story. The story that I didn't make good decisions and I wasn't very smart.
After identifying the story, I was able to write a new one. My new story is that I am brilliant! I have a spirit of power and wisdom given to me by God."
