On this episode, I am joined by Melissa ‘Lou’ Harris. ‘Lou’ shares her story of falling in love with lacrosse at a young age, which lead her to accomplishing many achievements such as becoming a x3 national champion and being the first women to play men’s Jr. ‘C’ & Jr. ‘B’ lacrosse. This eventually lead her to playing NCAA D. II lacrosse, and ultimately had her become the first women to play in the CUFLA with the Laurentian Voyageurs. However, this was not without its challenges. ‘Lou’ shares her story of battling through various forms of adversity and how it’s helped shaped both the athlete and person she is today.
