Jesus’ 2nd “Triumphal Entry”
While the first three chapters of Revelation deal with the past and present, the remainder of the book focuses on the future. It opens with John being caught up to the throne room of heaven where he will be given visions of the final events leading up to the 2nd coming of Christ. The time has come for those on earth to give an account for their rejection of the gracious offer of God’s love, demonstrated so clearly in the cross of His Son, Jesus Christ.
