We kick off the new season by interviewing former Maryland football coach Ralph Friedgen.
Friedgen was Maryland’s head coach from 2001 to 2010, winning the Terps’ last conference championship in 2001 and finishing with a 75-50 record as a head coach. Friedgen was also named ACC Coach of the Year twice and was named the AP College Coach of the Year in 2001.
The former head coach discussed his unusual firing in 2010, how James Franklin almost became Maryland’s head coach and how he turned football around in College Park.
Friedgen also revealed his relationship with Mike Locksley and where he thinks the program is headed.
