Rolando Lazaro, PT, PhD, DPT is a professor in California State University, Sacramento. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of the Philippines, Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of the Pacific, his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Creighton University, and his Ph.D. in Health Science from Touro University. He has published works in numerous scientific journals and edited and chapter authored in numerous textbooks. He's also the editor-in-chief of the Philippine Journal of Physical Therapy, the official journal of the Philippine Physical Therapy Association.

In today's episode, Dudan candidly shared his story of how he got into textbook writing and its difference from writing scholarly studies. He also described what to do first if you want to start or practice your writing skills, and encouraged everyone to begin with case studies, poster presentions, and then publishing. Lastly, we discussed the launch of the Philippine Journal of Physical Therapy. Let's get to it.
