Oneness Pentecostals teach that Acts 2 provides a salvific blueprint for Christians to speak in tongues today. Confusingly, the members of this movement practice ‘glossolalia’ (fabricated, non-meaningful speech), rather than the type of tongues clearly demonstrated in that book of the Bible: ‘xenolalia’ (a foreign language unknown to the speaker).
