Rowena Scherer is the Founder and CEO of eat2explore, an award-winning experiential cooking kit designed to bring cultural education alive through the exploration of world cuisines.
Founded in 2018, eat2explore has been featured in Forbes, NY Times, CNN, WSJ, BuzzFeed, and the Today Show, among other popular media. Rowena was previously a financial executive with JPMorgan in New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Sydney.
Rowena is a board member of Entrepreneurs' Organization, New York Chapter and a mentor volunteer at NYU’s Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship. She holds an Executive MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business, Bachelor of Finance and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from Victoria University of New Zealand and is a graduate of The French Culinary Institute of New York.
Rowena was born in Malaysia, moved to New York with JPMorgan and currently lives in New York with her husband Joshua and their two children (Justin and Ashley).
