Description

Emily's interest in physical fitness started when a lower back injury from her teens became a chronic issue after the birth of her second child. Where conventional medicine failed, her chronic pain was completely resolved through yoga and strength training. Emily has been practicing yoga since 1999 and earned her yoga instructor certification through YogaFit in 2007. She acquired her personal training certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2016. Emily also acquired her fascial stretch certification in November of 2018. Emily has experience working with special populations, youths, people suffering &/or recovering from chronic illnesses, as well as people with mobility issues using both yoga and personal training techniques.  Certifications: YogaFit - CYI, NSCA – CPT, Stretch To Win - CFST Philosophy: Helping others to be the best version of their present selves, inside and out, through movement, physical awareness, & positive intention.
