Happy Tuesday, everyone! I’m so glad you’re here. We’re back for Part 2 of my conversation with my Aunt Laura. Last week, Laura shared so much of her story of growing up, coming to faith, and what those first few years of following God looked like. It was so fun for me to hear, and if you haven’t listened yet, I highly recommend you go back and listen to Part 1!
Today’s episode wades a lot further in the deep end of our experience in walking alongside my mom in her battle against cancer, as well as what our grieving experiences were like after my mom went home to Heaven. It’s definitely heavy, so I’d encourage you to have some time and space to really listen. You’ll hear me say it, but I’m indescribably grateful for my Aunt Laura during this time. We had such an incredible community of people around us during that season, but she was my go-to teammate on the exceedingly good and excruciatingly hard days. You’ll hear so many of those moments today. So let’s jump right back in where we left off with Laura Meeks.
