Description

I'm so grateful that Pamela joined me on this podcast episode to talk about art therapy and how it helped her organically heal from chronic illnesses. After talking through her personal healing journey, she coached me and guided me through a therapy practice in real time, which you can also do on your own. All you need is paper, a sharpie, and coloring utensils of some kind. I was vulnerable and shared my reflections of the process.

I have always loved art and been drawn to creativity. It's pretty amazing how simple messy art can truly help you to connect to yourself and regulate your nervous system.

I hope this episode inspires you!

And I hope you follow along with the guided exercise to help you untangle whatever still needs untangling!

With light and love,

Jill

ABOUT MY GUEST:

Pamela O’Brien is a Therapeutic Art Coach who struggled with chronic illness for 30 years. She has many diagnosis from POTS to mast cell activation disorder to chronic fatigue and internal jugular compression. It all came to a tipping point in 2017 when she became bed-bound and lost her job. It was a time of feeling very lost and isolated, but then she began to paint, even while she was still in bed and that was the beginning of a lot of good changes for her. Now she teaches others how to paint and create as a healing tool!
