In this episode I define what somatic means and share a 20 minute somatic tracking meditation. "Somatic" comes from the Greek word "soma" which means body. In short, somatic refers to the connection, awareness, and attunement of your body and the sensations it experiences.
This meditation is a great way to begin to connect with the wisdom of your body and guide you to increase your awareness of sensations and emotions held in your body. It is a loving compassionate way of connecting to the parts of yourself that are in need.
