Everyone wants to get married young. Not me. As women we have our “biological clocks” and society encourages us to rush into things - marriage, having kids (so you can be young parents). And if that’s you: AWESOME! I hope you find someone super special to love, and who will love you, for the rest of your life. For me personally, I want to build myself a bit first. I want to travel, collect memories and stories. I want to have some time spent building friendships with people apart and outside of marriage. Here’s a little counter argument from the typical “married young” ideal of every teenage girl/woman in her early twenties. I’m trusting God to write my love story, I’m not willing to rush this decision. Not for me, not for my future husband, not for my future children. Why am I waiting for marriage? Listen to find out…
