Description

Psalm 63:1-4 (NIV): "You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you, in a dry and parched land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name, I will lift up my hands."

Reflection Question:

Reflect on the themes of seeking, thirsting, and longing for God in Psalm 63:1-4. Ask yourself: How can I cultivate a deeper earnestness in seeking God, especially in times of dryness and uncertainty? In what ways can I draw inspiration from the psalmist's words to express my longing for God, trusting in His love that is better than life itself? How might I lift up my hands in praise and surrender during this Advent season, anticipating the coming of Jesus into my life?
