The cobbler was not a bright man- but he worked hard and managed to make a living for himself and his widowed mother. Upon finding himself the inheritor of a sizable sum of money he sets out to work less and learn more.
The first bit of knowledge he acquires is in the form of a book of ghost stories, which sets our friend the cobbler off on a mission to find a ghost himself!
