We often think of waiting on God as time wasted. Instead, picture attending a guest of honor. You would stand by, anticipating and fulfilling their every desire.
There are great promises given to those who wait on the Lord. The visionary Nehemiah said, "The joy of the Lord is your strength." The psalmist David said, "Wait on the Lord, and He shall strengthen your heart." He went on to say, "In Thy presence is fulness of joy..."
Jesus said, "Mary hath chosen that good part..." She was sitting at His feet, listening and learning. So, what will it be for you? Strength from waiting or stress from worry?
