This week I got to chat with Monique Attia from Sydney Australia!
Monique was 19 years old weighing 332 lbs (151 kg) and her friends and family were greatly concerned with her health. She opted for Gastric Sleeve Surgery despite her fears and she lost 175 lbs (80 kg)!!
Monique and I talked about COVID in Australia, how this year has affected her and her extreme weight loss journey, and all the ins and outs of her bracciplasty surgery (excess skin removal) and total breast reconstruction!
