Biography:
Alicia Adiele Tieder has lived in Seattle since 1989. She is a mother, daughter, sister, wife, friend, and colleague with an insatiable passion for change and justice. Alicia began her career as a clinical social worker and spent time in community mental health, child welfare, and hospital social work before transitioning to healthcare leadership. She has focused on improving healthcare systems to advocate for patients and staff and to overcome the barriers to high-quality care and a meaningful work experience. Alicia is honored to be a leader and work with others in health equity, workforce diversity, and inclusion, to improve health outcomes for children through an equity-focused quality improvement and anti-racism framework.
