Welcome to Beyond Comfort Zone Episode 36 Season 2!
You don’t have to arrive fast.A simple phrase — but what if that’s the deeper goal in life too? You just have to arrive safe — whole, present, and honest with yourself.
A simple phrase — but what if that’s the deeper goal in life too?
In this episode, I explore what it means to slow down with purpose — not as a way to avoid responsibility, but as a way to move with clarity. It’s a reflection on balancing rest and discipline, acknowledging what you’ve achieved, and still having the courage to pursue what truly matters.
I talk about the discomfort of a popular quote: “You’re doing your best, and that’s embarrassing.” That mindset? It misses the point. Embarrassment is a mentality — one that can keep us stuck. What we need instead is grace with accountability. You’re allowed to rest, and you’re also capable of doing better — with love.
This episode also carries a personal moment — a spontaneous book recommendation from my nail tech that reminded me why I love divine timing. Yes, this episode came out later than planned. But life needed me to restructure, to refocus. And that matters too.
